A fresh challenge.
I recently decided to have a spot of fun with my light rod recently and go for the last years fry, the very tiny fish that swarms the margins. Now, you could scoop them up with a net, but I decided to try for them with a conventional float set up. I could not believe how difficult it was. The float became a football with Hundreds of the tiny fish swarming both the float and the bait. We anglers always tend to brag about the size of our prize, but when you change the dimensions under the same equipment it really can be thought provoking. I would definitely recommend any angler to have a go at these tiny fish, as it is great fun, and they all went back alive too. And who knows, one day in the distant future I may have been the first guy to catch a record breaking fish!
